Hello Gujariyas!
I wish there was a pool inside my house where I could soak myself to beat the heat! Pheww :/ Its so hot and humid outside that I’ve locked myself indoors to an extent that my neighbors are getting suspicious about my existence π Lolz! Anyways, the one thing we absolutely love to do during summers and hate during winters is, a nice bath! That feeling from being drenched in sweat to looking fresh as an apple is priceless, isn’t it? π This is the season when we are willing to try out new bath products. I am going to review a citrusy body wash from MALAVARA.
About The Brand
Malavara is a contemporary luxury body care brand that is inspired by the majestic beauty of India. ‘Malavaraβ takes its name from the Sanskrit for Indiaβs Malabar Coast, a thriving port on the ancient Spice Route of India, which saw the trade of exotic spices and sumptuous silks, as well as knowledge, cultures and religions. For the world, it was a gateway to the exotic riches of India. For India, it was a gateway to new ideas, inventions and ways of thinking. This exhilarating exchange of cultural riches is the inspiration for Malavara β a gateway to a thrilling sensory world, where time-honoured Indian ingredients, aromas and beauty rituals are reimagined in a compelling collection of fresh, contemporary fragrances. Our luxurious lotions, soaps and washes bathe you in evocative scent while a magnetic, colour-rich Indian design makes a crisp, contemporary style statement.

Malavara body washes are derived from pure coconut and virgin olive oils, which contain both the essential fatty acids to strengthen, condition, nourish and soften skin as well as the antioxidants needed to improve skin elasticity. They are entirely free of SLS, Parabens and other harsh preservatives. The preservative system used in our products is very gentle on skin, is included in the Handbook of Green Chemicals and is Whole Foods Premium Bodycare approved.

My Experience With the Product
This comes in a cute transparent plastic bottle with a screw lid. Its a light greenish liquid that smells of lime. It lathers really well on working it with a loofah. The fragrance is something that kept me hooked on to it. This is my second bottle and as you could see, it’s half over already π Nice lemony fragrance in a bath is something that wakes up the senses and makes us feel fresh. It doesn’t leave a stretchy feel behind like soaps do. The fragrance lasts for at least 2-3 hours and the freshness lasts a bit longer. The skin feels soft and supple post-bath and I tend to skip the moisturizer. This little bottle lasts me almost a month because only little quantity is enough to lather the entire body. (I am short BTW! Lolz π )
Summing up!
Pros
- Amazing lime fragrance
- Lathers well
- Fragrance lasts for few hours
- Feels fresh for a long time
- Safe and herbal
- Moisturizes the skin
- Makes skin soft and fresher looking
- Little is more! A little quantity is enough for a bath π
Cons
- It’s not available anywhere except Fabbag π
- Price! There are many equally good body washes in the market for a competitive price and great quantity! Why buy this?
I am not buying this again but will enjoy the left over body wash till the last drop πΒ Thanks for stopping by! Do comment your favorite body wash hereΒ β
