Mamaearth C3 Charcoal, Coffee and Clay Face Mask for Moms

Heya!

Being at home, I have all the time in the world to pamper myself with some exotic DIYs and luxurious products. I am on testing mode these days and that’s the reason I am not publishing posts so frequently. Charcoal has great benefits for the skin and almost every skincare brand is coming out with innovative products that have activated charcoal as one of the ingredients. Mamaearth has gained popularity in the past couple of months for their natural and effective baby care products (click here). When Mamaearth came up with products exclusively for moms, I was keen to try all of them. Mamaearth C3 – Charcoal, Coffee, and Clay Face Mask is gaining popularity among the beauty and mommy bloggers for all the right reasons.

Read on to find out why I am addicted to this face mask!

Mamaearth C3 – Charcoal, Coffee, and Clay Face Mask

What Does It Claim?

Are you wondering how to get rid of the ‘pregnancy mark’? Well, I am here to help. I am a mix of Charcoal, Coffee and Clay, loaded with minerals like magnesium, calcium and potassium to stimulate blood circulation. I have aloe vera which is very effective in reducing melanin in the body. Use me and those unsightly pimples will become a worry of the past! Coffee helps in stimulating blood flow and remove toxins which help smooth away blemishes. Charcoal is proven to help with acne, pimples and other skin concerns. I will improve your skin’s elasticity and minimize the appearance of pores for a youthful and flawless glow.

What Went Inside this Tub?

Except for Hydroxycinnamic Acid (antioxidant) and Potassium Sorbate (preservative), everything else is natural. These two are synthetic ingredients which are derived from peels of fruits and vegetables and sorbic acid respectively.

My Take on This Face Mask?

On the first look, the face mask looks like a tar mix. It comes in a tub pack with a fitted lid closure which saves the mess it can cause to the lid and to our hands while opening. When I lifted the inner lid, there was already enough product sticking to it that can paint my face black! 😛 This lid also serves the purpose as a tray to hold the face mask while applying. This way I didn’t have to dip my fingers over and over again in the tub which also doesn’t sound so hygienic.

I applied an even layer of Mamaearth C3 mask all over my face and a little extra on my chin which is highly prone to acne. I felt an instant cooling sensation which lasted until I washed off the mask. The mask doesn’t dry up fast and a good 20-25 minutes is required for it to dry. The essential oils in it do not leave the skin feeling stretchy and dry. I used a wet face sponge to wipe it off and then splashed some cold water on my face so that the pores are closed. The immediate results of this face mask were far better than what I had expected. My skin felt instantly softer and firmer. It has a bit brightening effect and my acne bump was considerably reduced in the first usage itself.

Wow! I am impressed! 🙂 I’ve used it almost 5-6 times by now and hence sharing this review.
