Be a Bombshell Eye Shadow Quad – London Review

Hello Beauties!

Eye makeup is something I refrain from since I started with makeup. I have hooded eyes, on which eye shadows hardly show up. However, experimenting with new things is what every beauty blogger does and I do not beg to differ. I am going to review Be a Bombshell Eye Shadow Quad – London, today. This was the part of the prizes offered for the Grand New Year giveaway I hosted early this year. I managed a few clicks for the hands on review, before I could send it to the winner! 😉

To use as an eyeliner wet the tip of your brush dip end into the shadow and apply on lash line. Gently blend base and accent colors together using light, feathery strokes. For highlighting gently brush under brow bone.

My Take on This Eye Shadow

I quite liked the mix of shades in the London palette because its perfect for creating a sultry look. Let me first introduce to the shades.

Top – Halo, Bottom – Starstruck, Right – Corrupt, Left – Pistol

The shades are not completely matte, but at the same time, they are not shimmery too. They have a creamy consistency with just enough shimmer and do not feel chalky at all. I love the Starstruck shade so much because it goes well with ethnics too. Pistol is mainly for highlighting. It can be used in the inner corner of the eyes and below the brows. Halo is a grey shade but I did not find it that good pigment wise. Corrupt is a deep charcoal shade that is apt for smokey eye look. Pigment wise all the shades are moderately pigmented and do not transfer or crease. But people with hooded eyelids like mine can apply them with a wet brush to avoiding creasing. In such cases, you can also use it as an eyeliner by wetting an applicator and carefully applying it over the lash lines. Highlighting the area below the brows with the Pistol shade will also help a lot in enhancing the brows. The packaging is compact and looks good. But its sold for a whooping 1200 bucks in India while on their actual website it only costs 7 dollars, which is less than half of the price in India. 🙁 Anyways, I loved this quad and may try more shades if I get a chance in the future.

Summing up with the pros and cons,

Pros

♥ Decently pigmented

♥ Great shade mix in one quad

♥ No chalky feeling

♥ Blends well

♥ Creamy base

♥ Mild shimmer

♥ No fallout

♥ Cute packaging

♥ Travel-friendly

Cons

🙁 Too pricey in India!

🙁 Availability in India

🙁 I wish there was an applicator with the quad

Will I Recommend This to You?

I would not recommend buying this eyeshadow quad from Be a Bombshell from Indian stores. Buying directly from their website will help you save a lot, so better opt for that. Overall, a decent eyeshadow quad with a good mix of shades.

Stay Gorgeous!
